Virgil Loatman: it took me forever to figure out the point of "frames of reference". All they are is a set of guidelines that determine which types of interventions you would use for certain population types (ie. cognitive issues, physical problems etc)For instance, in an outpatient physical rehab clinic, the frames of reference used would most likely be the Bio-mechanical approach (due to the physical aspect) and maybe a combination with Sensory integration or something since OT does not use the Bio-mechanical approach alone....Show more
