Favorite gardening resource for the North West?

Everette Rovinsky: Use Sunset's "Western Garden Book" available on line. Purchase it used to save money. I bought mine on line at Powell's Books in Portland, Oregon. It's the best information resource book and considered the benchmark for the Pacific Northwest.Caution: Don't get the new 2008 edition as it costs more money (like $35) and believe it or not, it doesn't have an index of common names, they just show the botanical name and who knows that besides a Professor of gardening at Harvard. Lester Haschke: The Sunset Western Garden Book is a bible for our gardening.Next is the Washington Master Gardeners. Look for them at fairs and farmers markets and ask all of your questions.
