General prices for coin laundry?

Alexis Reyer: This Site Might Help You.RE:General prices for coin laundry?I have a neighbor who wants to pay me to do his laundry as a summer job. I need to know the common price that most places charge per piece (then adjust my price to be lower). What price do you pay per piece at a coin laundromat? Thanks...Show more

Joni Ziak: He is providing his machines, detergent etc so that wont cost me.

Ulrike Hert: You should charge him by the load, not the piece. One load for whites, one load for colors, and one load for sheets and towels. Then ask him what he thinks is a fair price per load.

Garrett Detone: Coin laundromats don't charge by piece ... you pay the full price for a load whether you're washing one item or 20.I'm sure the cost varies from place to place, but when I use one of the various laundromats in my area, here's what I pay:$1.75 - $2.00 for a regular washer (per load)$3.25 - $4.00 for an extra large washer (per load)50 cents for 15 minutes dr! yer timeDon't forget the cost of detergent, bleach, fabric softener, etc. and of course, what YOUR TIME is worth. It should cost MORE to have you do his laundry than if he were doing it himself ... Don't be afraid to point out that fact!...Show more

Esteban Faggett: What I have seen when I go is they charge by the pound. I just washed my comforter at a nice laundromat and they charged $1.25 per pound.
