Sammy Tabatt: Most states have free behavioral health clinics. I haven't paid a dime for my care since 2001. You should check with the county you live in or go to http://www.nami.org
Rufus Plough: It depends where you live. Here in the UK seeing a psychologist/psychiatrist is free through the NHS but the waiting time can be long and you need to be referred by your GP. Going private can cost up to £100 an hour if not more.In the US you probably need health insurance for it. But if she has been diagnosed as bi-polar then tthen tell her to go back to the doc and ask what he would recommend....Show more
