Jimmie Doerfler: According to the manual the digital input is coaxial not optical. Usually this ia color coded orange not white, but otherwise looks just like a standard analog RCA jack. You can convert optical from the PS3 to coaxial using an inexpensive converter. See link for one source. You will need a short optical cable as well to connect the PS3 to the converter, and to connect the converter to the receiver -- while a digital coaxial audio cable is best -- a standard analog RCA cable will work fine....Show more
